STIGA US ANNOUNCES SPONSERSHIP OF KERSHAW'S CHALLENGE + PING PONG 4 PURPOSE
Ping Pong 4 Purpose supports Kershaw’s Challenge, which has raised over $16 million for vulnerable and at-risk children since 2011. Ellen and Clayton Kershaw’s charity’s goal is to partner with organizations committed to serving these children and to working alongside the charity to make life better for them. STIGA US is honored to be partnering with Kershaw’s Challenge in this good work.
ONIX PICKEBALL DONATES $10,000 TOWARDS BREAST CANCER AWARENESS FOR THE 3RD YEAR
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and ONIX Pickleball is donating $10,000 to IWIN (Indiana Women in Need Foundation) to increase awareness of this disease and aid families impacted by breast cancer. The goal is to get as many people as possible involved in raising awareness and funds to help women and men in need of assistance as well as support life-saving research and life-changing support. Our Paddle with a Purpose campaign features a complete pink line of pickleball products including the top-selling Evoke Premier paddle, pickleball sport bags, plus a new pink paddle cover and pink wristband supporting this cause.
ESCALADE SPORTS & EVANSVILLE GARAGE DOORS GIVE BACK TO LOCAL FIRE DEPARTMENT
Escalade Sports is proud to partner with Evansville Garage Doors in donating pickleball paddles, portable pickleball nets, and packs of pickleballs to all 14 houses of the heroic men and women of the Evansville Fire Department. This comes as a “thank you” for their efforts in extinguishing the massive fire over this past New Year’s holiday weekend that took place in the warehouse that neighbors Escalade Sports and Evansville Garage Doors businesses in Evansville.
THE HOOP BUS & PROJECT BACKBOARD
During the Fourth Annual NBA All-Star Weekend Celebration, Goalrilla Basketball partnered with The Hoop Bus and Project Backboard and donated four of our DC72EI basketball hoops to schools in Salt Lake City, Utah. During the NBA All-Star Game Weekend, the DC72 hoops were installed at two local schools that had no basketball courts.
WORLD TABLE TENNIS DAY 2024
STIGA, in partnership with AYTTO, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering students through table tennis while excelling academically, is thrilled to team up with SPIN, a renowned ping pong social club, to celebrate World Table Tennis Day 2024. In honor of this special occasion, SPIN is offering $10 table reservations on Saturday, April 20th, and Tuesday, April 23rd, from 8 pm until closing at ALL locations, with all proceeds going directly to AYTTO to support their mission of making table tennis accessible and fostering values of sportsmanship and leadership among youth from all backgrounds.
GOALRILLA PARTNER WITH NBA FORWARD TORREY CRAIG
A forward for the NBA’s Phoenix Suns, Torrey is returning home to reveal the renovated basketball court featuring the all-new Goalrilla hoops to the small community. As a senior at Great Falls High School, he was honored with the title of Class 1A State Player of the Year. He later played for University of South Carolina Upstate - a NCAA Division 1 school and went undrafted by the NBA. His story of never giving up, consistency, and manifestation, reflects Goalrilla’s philosophy to “Dream Bigger Than Your Driveway.”
GOALRILLA DONATES FIXED HEIGHT BASKETBALL HOOPS TO LOCAL MIDDLE SCHOOL
When the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation reached out to Goalrilla Basketball about the possibility of donating a new basketball court for McGary Middle School, our hearts immediately responded with, “How many can we help with?” Goalrilla was thrilled to donate four brand new Goalrilla Fixed Height Basketball Hoops with perforated steel backboards. School officials shared that this gift means the world to the kids and the entire community. Knowing that children are using the new hoops every chance they get— even playing late into the evening, brings us immense joy. It creates a safe space for them to connect, stay active, and build lifelong friendships.
UE CELEBRATES GRAND REOPENING OF RADEMACHER STUDENT LOUNGE
The University of Evansville has reopened the Rademacher Student Lounge with a fresh look and new recreational amenities, thanks to a generous donation from Escalade Sports. The renovated space now features a pool table, shuffleboard, ping pong, foosball, pop-up basketball, and ample seating for students to relax and connect. Gaming supplies can be borrowed from the Information Desk. Michael Tessier, Assistant VP for Student Affairs, emphasized the lounge’s role in fostering community and engagement on campus. UE celebrates this revitalization as a welcoming and dynamic space for students to enjoy.
